Performance

The petrol version of the Elantra comes with two engine options, a 2.0L four-cylinder and a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder. Transmission options depend on which engine option you want, and the 2.0L engine comes with a variable automatic transmission. The fuel economy is quite impressive. Technology

The Elantra comes with an array of standard safety features such as forward collision warning, rear-cross traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Adaptive cruise control is available with the convenience package on the lower trims but comes standard on the Limited trim along with Highway Driving Assist.

Interior and Comfort

The sedan can seat up to five adults with ample cargo space that can be increased by folding the rear seats on higher trims. The N trim level has sporty bucket seats, alloy wheels, and 64-colour ambient lighting.

The entry-level SE trim has cloth upholstery seats, the driver's seat is adjustable six ways, and the rear seats have five centimetres extra legroom than the predecessor. As you move up in the trims, there’s dual-zone automatic climate control and illuminated vanity mirrors. The Elantra has plenty of legroom, 396L of cargo space, and the higher trims have foldable rear seats.

Trim Levels and Prices

The base model Elantra will be available in three trim levels: SE, SEL, and Limited. In comparison, the Elantra N Line is available in one trim only. There’s the Elantra Hybrid option as well. Prices for the Hybrid trims weren’t available as yet. The N Line Ultimate purchase price will start from $32,203, while the basic Elantra Essential starts from $22,753.
