Hyundai Venue: 2020 vs 2021 vs 2022

Hyundai Venue: 2020 vs 2021 vs 2022

The Hyundai Venue is a mid-size car Hyundai introduced in 2019. It’s designed for the Canadian market and is considered one of the best examples of compact cars from Hyundai. Its popularity prompted Hyundai to release a new version every year, making it more advanced, packed with new features, and equipped with a more powerful engine. Here's a look at Hyundai Venue 2020 vs. 2021 vs. 2022.

Engine

The 2020 Hyundai Venue was a mid-size sedan with a 1.6-litre inline-four engine. It produced 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque. The 2021 Hyundai Venue had the same engine as its predecessor, delivering almost the same performance at 121 horsepower and 112 lb-ft of torque. The 2022 Hyundai Venue also comes with a 1.6-litre inline-four engine, again delivering the same performance of 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque.

Infotainment System

The infotainment system in the three Hyundai Venue models is similar in that it has an 8.0-inch touchscreen display. However, there are some differences between the three models:

The 2020 Hyundai Venue had Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, so you could use your smartphone to navigate the menus on your screen. It had a built-in Qi wireless charging pad for your phone and came with a USB port to charge other devices.

The 2021 Hyundai Venue came with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration with built-in Google Maps navigation. It also had Bluetooth connectivity and came with a USB port for charging other devices.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue also integrates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; however, it doesn’t include Google Maps navigation or Bluetooth connectivity like previous models do (so you'll need an adapter if you want to connect your phone). It still includes a USB port for charging other devices.

Comfort Features

All three Hyundai Venue models offer several comfort features that help make your drive more enjoyable. The 2020 Hyundai Venue offers heated front seats, which help keep you comfortable in all weather conditions.

The 2021 Hyundai Venue added a heated steering wheel to its list of comfort features, allowing you to adjust the temperature of your steering wheel as necessary throughout the year. The 2022 Hyundai Venue adds ventilated driver and front passenger seats to its list of comfort features. These seats have vents that allow airflow to keep drivers and passengers cool even when temperatures rise outside.

Design

All three Hyundai Venue models' exteriors are similar in terms of their overall design. They’re all based on the same platform, have a similar wheelbase and track width, and all have the same engine options. The only difference is that each model year has its unique exterior styling.

Conclusion

Hyundai has given its crossover SUV a complete makeover, and more customers are now looking for Hyundai Venue for sale. The Venue looks modern and tidy; the cabin is comfortable and full of new innovative technologies. With such great looks and improved interior, this vehicle is expected to be one of the most widely sold SUVs this year.
